Michael has worked with ANU on The Anvil, The Lost O’Casey and Judging Shaw.
Michael received a full scholarship and trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. He appeared as the role of Soapy Smith, a recurring role, in the TV series Klondike for TG4/Abu Media.
Recent screen credits include Acceptable Risk for RTÉ and The Alienist for TNT as well as the feature film Finky. Michael recently appeared in the VOD stream of Inside the GPO (Fishamble Theatre Company) as well as in the Abbey Theatre’s production of The Great Hunger. Other recent theatre credits include Haughey/Gregory (Fishmable Theatre Company) and The Iliad, directed by Conall Morrison. He also appeared in Futureproof directed by Tom Creed; Monster directed by Karl Shiels; Hamlet playing Polonius and the live production of Inside the GPO directed by Jim Culleton.
Film and TV work includes In View (Underground Cinema); Swansong (Florin Film); Taggart (STV); Like Father, Like Son (ITV); Silent Witness (BBC); Catherine Cookson’s Dinner of Herbs (Festival Films); Big Bad World (Carlton); Rough Treatment (World Productions); Rope Trick (BBC); Colourblind (Festival Films) and The Bill (Carlton). Radio credits include Smokes and Daggers and Forgetting Curve (BBC Northern Ireland).
